WHO WE ARE
KanaVision Kids (KVK) is a multimedia children’s entertainment company originating and servicing the Metro-Atlanta area and beyond. KVK provides positive, educational, and inspiring children’s entertainment through wholesome original music, dance, videos, and live performances using Social Emotional Learning (SEL), delivered through our KVK characters. KVK strives to be a leader in age-appropriate entertainment for the delight of all children with the hope that they see themselves reflected in one of the characters introduced by KanaVision Kids.

KanaVision Kids' mission is to inspire, encourage, and empower children worldwide through creative mediums that promote diversity, inclusion, understanding, and acceptance.
MEET THE TEAM
Karim Shyllon, President, has over twenty (20) years of experience working as an executive producer, writer, director, and producer of micro-budget films. Mr. Shyllon has created and managed content ranging from weekly television shows to faith-based and urban content as CEO of Kanasieu Films, LLC. He has also spent two (2) years working as a production assistant at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, GA working on mainstream television shows and major motion pictures. He enjoys working out, supporting his beloved Duke Blue Devils, and going to the movies when not creating. As a child, his favorite kid shows were 'Leo the Lion', 'Superbook', and 'He-Man and the Masters of the Universe'. He is a graduate of North Carolina Central University.
Chanel Ware, Executive Vice President, has over fifteen (15) years of experience working in the capacity of executive producer, producer, creative director, costume design, merchandising, and advertising of micro-budget films and content ranging through the genres of short films, faith-based, urban content, and reality shows. She also has over twenty (20) years of management experience in the Restaurant, Pharmaceutical, and Biotech industry. In her free time, Ms. Ware enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and researching her next real estate venture. Her favorite kid shows to watch growing up were 'Sesame Street', 'Animaniacs', and 'The Proud Family'.
Michael Hankins, Senior Vice President, has Twenty plus (20+) years of experience working in the Film and Television industry. His work history includes Content Operations Coordinator for Turner Broadcasting, Studio Technician, News Photojournalist and Commercial Photographer for CBS affiliate WNEM-5 (Saginaw, MI). He also serves as the President and CEO of Infinite Multimedia LLC, a multimedia company specializing in video, music, and graphic design. Michael is a Mass Communications graduate from Delta College and of the Georgia Film Academy. Mr. Hankins enjoyed watching 'The Cosby Show', 'The Backyardigans' and 'RugRats' in his younger days.
Alex Hawthorne, Creative Director, has over seventeen (17+) years of experience mentoring kids and working with children with behavioral disabilities throughout The Carolina’s. In 2005, Mr. Hawthorne founded Jus’ Like Us, a non-profit corporation mentoring at-risk youth through creative arts, giving them an outlet to express themselves through music. Jus’ Like Us later inspired a film entitled “At Risk”, which he co-produced. Alex attended North Carolina Central University majoring in Political Science, and played varsity football. Alex loves to workout, play golf, watch the Food Network, and professional sports. His favorite shows to watch as a kid were ‘Scooby-Doo’, ‘Fat Albert’ and ‘ThunderCats’.
